The 60% Breakthrough: Reclaiming Time for Care

The Documentation Bottleneck

In the care sector, time is the most precious resource. For years, the move to digital records was supposed to make life easier, yet many caregivers find themselves tethered to screens, spending hours every shift typing up reports. On Day Two of our current software trial, we are seeing a recurring theme: the “documentation bottleneck” is finally breaking. By focusing on how data enters the system, we are finding ways to give that time back to those who need it most—the residents.

Efficiency Without Compromise

The most common fear when discussing “faster” documentation is the loss of quality. Usually, if a report is finished 60% faster, the assumption is that 60% of the detail has been cut. However, our trial is proving the opposite. We are achieving a 60% reduction in documentation time while maintaining—and often improving—the clinical depth of the notes. We aren’t shortcutting the story of a resident’s day; we are simply removing the manual friction of telling it.

More Presence, Less Screen Time

The true value of this 60% saving is found in the atmosphere of the care home. Instead of staff being “glued to tablets” in the corner of a room, they are back to being present. This means more face-to-face time with residents and better communication between colleagues on the floor. When carers are looking at people instead of screens, health outcomes improve—signs of distress are caught earlier, and social engagement flourishes. We are proving that technology is at its best when it gets out of the way of human connection.
